These Terms apply to Combino (the "Game"), published by 9506-6320 QUÉBEC INC., operating the "WhiskerWorks" games, Québec, Canada ("we", "us"). They supplement Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/). By playing you accept them. Our Privacy Policy is at https://pistolz.github.io/combino/privacy.html.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Game on Apple devices you own or control, for private, non-commercial entertainment, under the App Store rules. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer (except where the law allows), cheat, exploit bugs, or use bots, solvers or tools that alter the Game, its scores, its leaderboards or its ads.
The Game is made for teens and adults and is not directed to children under 13. If you are a minor, ask a parent or guardian before making purchases. Parents can restrict purchases and Game Center features with Apple's Screen Time and Family Sharing controls.
All purchases are made through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms. Prices are shown in the Game before purchase. Refund requests are handled by Apple (https://reportaproblem.apple.com). Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer, including the Québec Consumer Protection Act, legal guarantees and, where applicable, withdrawal rights for digital content as managed by Apple.
The Game shows ads served by third parties (Unity LevelPlay). Interstitial ads appear only between two puzzles, never during a puzzle. Some ads are optional rewarded ads you choose to watch for in-game rewards (a hint, double coins for a solved puzzle, a doubled daily gift); a reward is granted only when the ad network confirms the ad was completed. Hints can also be obtained for free every day or with coins. We do not control third-party ad content; you can report an unsuitable ad in Settings > Report an ad or at bonjour@tazgo.ca. The "Remove Ads" purchase removes interstitial and banner ads; optional rewarded ads stay available.
The optional leaderboards (total stars, Infinite puzzles solved, Daily Hive times) are provided by Apple's Game Center under Apple's terms. The "top X %" shown in the Game comes from Apple's leaderboard data at that moment and is given for information only. Scores obtained by cheating, solvers, modified apps or exploiting bugs may be removed (we can ask Apple to remove scores or reset a leaderboard). Your Game Center nickname is chosen by you in Apple's settings and must respect Apple's rules. Leaderboards have no prizes. We do not guarantee that the leaderboards will always be available.
The Game, including its puzzles, characters, art, sounds, music, code and trademarks, belongs to us or our licensors. The bee facts in the Rule Album are given for fun and general knowledge, with a link to their source.
We may update, change or stop features or the Game. We aim to give reasonable notice of a shutdown when possible. Some features need an internet connection (ads, purchases, leaderboards and ranking, account and cloud save).
The Game is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect losses or for loss of progress stored on your device. Nothing excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law (e.g. for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury) or your mandatory consumer rights.
You may stop using the Game at any time by deleting it. We may suspend the licence if you seriously breach these Terms (e.g. cheating tools, fraud).
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without depriving consumers of the protection of mandatory rules of their country of residence. Please contact us first at bonjour@tazgo.ca.
We may update these Terms; the new version applies from its effective date and will be shown in the Game for significant changes.
